Simon is an incisive advocate and trial lawyer with an unwavering commitment to his clients. Born and raised in London, Ontario, Simon is a graduate of the University of Victoria (B.A. Hons., 2006), and Queen’s University (J.D., 2010).
His law career began in Toronto in 2010, where he trained under a strong and accomplished group of lawyers at Rogers Partners LLP until May 2016. He had much success, including as lead defense counsel at trial.
In June 2016, Simon returned with his family to Victoria and quickly got to work at Shields Harney. Simon’s practice has expanded to include commercial, administrative, employment, property and tort law.
Simon’s experience includes tribunal, application, trial and appellate work, a secondment as in-house counsel at a major international retailer and numerous out-of-court resolutions.
