Scott Farquhar is a director of the firm. He grew up in Victoria and received his law degree from the University of Alberta in 1996. Scott was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1997.
Scott’s practice is focused on estate administration and wills, estate planning, real estate transactions and personal injury law. He also handles matters relating to incapacity/committeeship and employment/labour law. Scott has conducted numerous trials in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.
Scott is currently a director on the board of the Victoria Youth Clinic Society. He is also a past chair of the board of the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC. He is also a past president of the Victoria Bar Association. Scott is also a past secretary of the board of the Lower Island Soccer Association. As well, he is a past president of the Oak Bay Tennis Cub. He was previously a committee member for the BC Children’s Hospital Miracle Open Golf Tournament.
In past years Scott enjoyed coaching his children’s baseball and soccer teams. He played competitive tennis for years and also coached tennis at Oak Bay Rec Centre during his university years. He continues to be an avid tennis player and he also enjoys golf and skiing. As well, he is a big fan of the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Blue Jays.
