Scott Farquhar is a partner with the firm. He grew up in Victoria and received his law degree from the University of Alberta in 1996. Scott was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1997.
Scott’s practice is focused on personal injury law and wills and estates. He also handles committeeship matters, employment/labour law and other civil litigation. Scott has conducted numerous trials in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Provincial Court of British Columbia.
Scott is currently the vice chair on the board of the Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C. He is also the secretary on the board of the Lower Island Soccer Association. Scott is a past president of the Victoria Bar Association. As well, he is a past president of the Oak Bay Tennis Club. He was previously a committee member for the B.C. Children’s Hospital Miracle Open Golf Tournament.
In his spare time Scott enjoys spending time with his family and coaching baseball. During his time at the University of Alberta he played on the varsity tennis team. Scott continues to be an avid tennis player and he also enjoys golf and skiing. As well, he is a big fan of the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Blue Jays.
