Sandra Raath is a partner with the firm. Her practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial transactions and general corporate matters including:

• Incorporations

• Corporate structuring and reorganizations

• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements

• Purchases and sales of businesses

• Equity financing for early-stage and private companies

• Securities compliance

• Residential and commercial real estate transactions

• Estate planning (including wills and powers of attorney)

Sandra works with clients in a variety of industries and stages of business and manages the affairs of numerous health professionals, including physicians, dentists, optometrists and chiropractors. Sandra is also frequently called upon to act for buyers and sellers of medical and dental practices.

Although a Victoria native, Sandra previously worked at a large national firm in Vancouver, where she specialized in securities law and regulation, including public and private equity financings, IPOs, M&A, debt financing and plans of arrangement.

Sandra is a guest lecturer and a contributing author to practice manuals for the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC and taught Business Law at Royal Roads University. Sandra is the current President and Chair of the Board for Habitat for Humanity Victoria.

Outside of work, Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and dabbling in photography.
